Our Team

Dr Gillian Graves

Formerly HRD Director of a US high tech company, Gill has extensive hands-on international HRD experience, gained within fast-growing, rapidly changing environments.

Gill is one of the country’s most qualified coaches and facilitators with a Doctorate in Coaching and Mentoring, EMCC Master Practitioner accreditation and an MBA from Warwick University.

Gill is a fellow of the CIPD, a master practitioner and certified trainer of NLP, Level 1 and 2 SHL trained including the use of OPQ, a qualified user of a range of Hay tools, a qualified user of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and a qualified supervisor of coaches. Gill has written thre highly successful books: ‘Presenting Yourself With Impact at Work, ‘Coaching with Impact at Work’ and ‘Team Coaching With Impact at Work‘. Gill founded Iridium in 2000 and has built an impressive and loyal client base.

Colin Graves

Formerly MD for Northern Europe of a Nasdaq quoted US company, Colin has extensive hands-on international sales, marketing and general management experience, gained within fast-growing, rapidly changing environments including 12 years with GE. Colin is an experienced facilitator and executive coach.

Colin has a degree in Electrical Engineering, an MBA and a first class degree in Psychology. Colin is also a qualified user of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a Licensed Practitioner of Insights Discovery and a ILM Level 7 qualified coach.

Colin worked part time for Iridium from 2000 and joined full time in 2004.

Cathy Millington

Cathy has a background of hands-on experience within UK HRD; formerly she was Personnel Officer of a Canadian-owned UK-based high tech company and prior to this PA to the General Manager for a leading UK engineering company.

Cathy has worked with Gill since 1988 and has worked part-time for Iridium since 2000. Cathy is a graduate of the CIPD.

Kate Willson

Kate has a strong HR and development background with 20 years experience partnering a wide range of organisations. She headed up the Management Development function at the Alliance & Leicester Building Society where she successfully gained board level commitment to robust succession planning and talent management processes. She also has experience in leading and delivering on interpersonal skills, 360 feedback and performance management .

Her broad experience has enabled her to deliver pragmatic solutions across the range of people management issues. She has also completed several senior management coaching assignments and project managed major organisational change programmes.
