Presenting Yourself with Impact

No matter how skilled you are in your particular line of work it is your ability to communicate with and influence others that will do much to determine your level of professional success.  Traditional communication theory, and in consequence training, has been based on the medium and form of the message, and of late on the technology.  This workshop is different in that it uses the latest Neuro Lingusitic Programming (NLP) techniques.  NLP is more concerned with the variety of perceptions, attitudes and beliefs that are involved.  In particular it focuses on the desired outcome, or purpose of the communication and the extent to which this is achieved.  NLP offers you state of the art skills and techniques that will enable you to truly 'Present Yourself with Impact' based on models of great presenters such as Martin Luther King .  In this two day workshop you will learn how to:

		Understand the key principles for presenting yourself with impact - what effective communicators do that makes a difference.
		Use the technique of "Starting with the end in mind" to prepare for future meetings, presentations and negotiations to ensure that there is a clear outcome in mind.
		Be aware of your own and others' use of enabling and inhibiting patterns of language and use these patterns to increase the power of your message..
		Understand the concept of "enriched language" and how this can be used to really "sell" your ideas to a diverse group of people.
		Manage yourself so you can achieve a state of resourcefulness and confidence whenever you choose.
		Explore what shifts or leverage points can assist you in aligning the way you present yourself consistently.
		Structure your message so that it appeals to as wide an audience as possible.
		Deliver a presentation that is enriching in both style and content.
		Determine your next steps to embed the learning from the workshop.

The style will be highly interactive, participative and personalised.  Participants will be given time on the first day to prepare a short presentation to be delivered on the second day.  This presentation will be filmed and all participants will take away a dvd of their presentation.
